Speakers for my PS2
Since I’m using a PC monitor for my PS2 screen it does not include speakers like a TV would. So I needed some speakers to fill that gap.
Like with the monitor having speakers I can use for my PC and PS2 was considered. I got a set of Edifier R1280T speakers
in the end. The main reason being they have dual RCA inputs so I can hook up my PC and PS2 at the same time without an extra audio switcher.
There’s a brown model of the speakers available too which I wanted to have a bit of a retro aesthetic. Got a nice deal on eBay but it ended up being the black ones. Turns out all the boxes show the brown model and the actual color is a small checkbox on the packaging. Both the seller and I were unaware of this so was surprised to find the black model inside. Like I said I got a nice discount so didn’t bother returning it. Might be a woodworking project in the future for my workshop to replace the sides with a nice wood.
